Amazon Music family plan launched: Will it match the Music Unlimited plan?

The music industry is receiving a boost in the wake of every sunrise given that old players and new entrants are putting up their acts together, thus growing the competition. It is for this reason that we ought to hear of Amazon Music family plan launched? But will it much its previously launched service, the Music Unlimited plan? Which one would be of preference to a majority?

To say the least, the Family Plan will eventually become more competitive than the Music Unlimited plan. Why? It is all a matter of cost. The Family Plan has a flat monthly pricing whether or not one has the Amazon Prime membership. The Amazon Music Unlimited’s plans for individuals costs $7.99 per month for Prime customers against $9.99 per month for non-Prime members.  However, what seems like a cheap price for the Family Plan may not necessarily help Amazon in boosting its Prime subscriptions.

But there is something better to look out for from Amazon

While we may all want to focus on the pricing, it would be a worthy cause to look out for what else Amazon is likely to be offering. It has a voice assistant, Alexa, which performs common actions the likes of playing songs from a particular artist, thus, making music streaming a different encounter.

But on the other hand, Amazon Music Unlimited’s recommendations are not sp pleasing plus they are not as smart as those of Spotify. Its “Discover Weekly” playlist remains one of the service’s best selling points. So shall we still continue to be glued to Amazon Music family plan launched? Meanwhile, Amazon’s stock was trading at $746.49 witnessing an increase of $3.25 or 0.44%.
