Finer details are slowly coming out of how, Kim Kardashian was held up at gunpoint in Paris, and robbed jewelry worth millions of dollars. A spokeswoman to the Keeping up with Kardashian star say the mother of two was ‘badly shaken ’ as police confirmed the robbery did indeed take place at about 03:00 (01:00 GMT).
Kim Kardashian Held Up At Gunpoint In Paris
Kanye West who was on stage at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York at the time had to cut short his performance telling fans “I’m sorry, family emergency. I have to stop the show.” While Kim was staying at a luxury residence behind the Paris Madeleine Church, it is still unclear whether she was with her two children at the time of the incidence.
According to CNN, Kim Kardashian was held up at gunpoint in Paris, by two masked men. Other media outlets say the assailants could have been five.
“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers,” a representative of the Kardashian told CNN.
During the entire ordeal, Kim was tied up in the bathroom and escaped uninjured. Paris police say the masked men walked away with a jewelry box containing valuables worth $6.7 million as well as a ring worth 4 million euros.
This is not the first time Kardashian West has encountered the bad people in Paris. Last week a serial accoster ambushed her as she tried to enter a restaurant. In 2014, she was attacked outside a Paris fashion show.
Amidst the wave of attacks, Paris is still a Special place for the mother of two who stayed there with her husband prior to their wedding in 2014.
TV host James Corden wrote in a post on twitter “People making jokes about Kim Kardashian tonight would do well to remember that she’s a mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend. Be nice or shut up,” While some people have continued to make fun of Kim Kardashian, being held up at gunpoint it seems others are showing remorse.
